Samsung regularly releases software updates for its smartphones to improve their performance, add new features, and fix bugs. The Galaxy S23 smartphones from Samsung have fantastic camera features, but one feature is still missing. In Korean community forums, the Samsung camera development team announced that the company will soon offer 2x portrait zoom.

Right now, the World S23 cell phones have 1x and 3x in Representation mode - flipping between the essential camera and the 3x fax unit with 10MP sensor and 70mm identical central length.

2x zoom will be available with the new feature, which will continue to use the main camera's digital zoom and computational photography to improve results.
