HTC One Mini Could Be Released in August, Claims Report

It could be a fierce fight in the battle for “mini” device superiority, as rumors now suggest that the HTC One Mini will be released in August, right on time to duke it out with the already-confirmed Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini.

To add some perspective to this story, let’s go back to the Samsung Galaxy S4 Mini, a device that was heavily rumored prior to the summer and just recently confirmed for a June 20 launch in London.

Shortly before that announcement, rumors regarding an HTC “M4”, unofficially called HTC One Mini, started spreading, and like the Galaxy S4 Mini, that phone was rumored to be a lower-end, more affordable version of its big brother, the HTC One. So it stands to reason that both Galaxy S4 Mini and HTC One Mini will be competing fiercely against each other in the late summer, in a battle of midrange variants of existing flagships.
