UAE BlackBerry users get Android app lifeline for BB10

BlackBerry users who want to abandon their handsets due to shortage of any significant apps, don’t throw away your phones yet.

Now, one can easily run thousands of Android apps seamlessly on any of the BB10 devices, thanks to the removal of previously enabled restrictions.

A new version of Android runtime has been released (note: It is not an official BlackBerry release) that enables apps to run without  the limitations that BlackBerry had previously set .

Even earlier one could load the Android runtime but apps did not work properly due to the limitations set by BlackBerry. The new runtime manages to bypass these limitations.

As it is not an official release, the possibility of the phone crashing following the installation cannot be ruled out.

Meanwhile, CrackBerry has a detailed list of instruction on how one can run almost any Android 2.3.3 app on BlackBerry 10.

According to a report on N4BB soon we could see Instagram integrated into BlackBerry.
