Samsung Galaxy S4 Zoom: Sony, Nokia hit?

Samsung’s camera phone with a 16 megapixel camera and a massive 10X optical zoom has been launched in the UAE.

The device is priced at Dh1,899 and will be on sale from today across leading outlets.

The camera phone that was launched in London on June 12, combines the features of an S4 mini with a powerful camera and is aimed at taking on the Sony Xperia Z and Nokia`s forthcoming Lumia 1020 EOS.

Nokia’s 41 megapixel camera phone the first such windows phone ever will be released in London on July 11.

Samsung, meanwhile, hopes to get on board enough customers with its S4 Zoom.

Samsung has been working on combining the phone with a powerful camera.
