Samsung Galaxy Note III and LG Optimus G2 to come with 3GB RAM

Samsung Galaxy Note III, the next iteration of Samsung's popular Note series large screen phone and LG's next flagship, the Optimus G2, will come with 3GB of RAM if a new report is to be believed.

According to a report by Korean publication Hankyung (or The Korean Economic Daily) the Samsung Galaxy Note III and the LG Optimus G2 will come with 3GB of RAM. The same information was sharedby Sam Mobile in June when it tweeted about the Galaxy Note III's purported specifications. 

Another report by AndroidBeat speculates that Samsung is putting a 3GB RAM module instead of a 4GB one due to industry shortage.

A recent report suggests that the Samsung Galaxy Note III will be launched on September 4, 2013. It mentions that Samsung will hold an Unpacked event on September 4 to unveil the Note III in Berlin before the IFA 2013 officially kicks off.

Evan Blass or @evleaks had earlier suggested that the Samsung Galaxy Note III will come with a 5.7-inch display contradicting prior news reports that claimed that the phablet will come with a 5.99-inch full-HD Super AMOLED display with diamond pixel structure.
