Samsung Galaxy Curve Vs. LG G Flex

Curved phones are the newest additions to the smartphone world, where Korean companies Samsung and LG are going head to head to compete for the next coming OLED display device.

NBC news reports that both phones feature a curved screan, but the 5.7-inch Galaxy round is bent horizontally while LG's G Flex is bent vertically.

Both offer strong specs, where both offer a Snapdragon 800 processor, 13-megapixel rear cameras, and a 2.1-megapixel sensor. The Galaxy Round also features 3GB of RAM instead of 2GB like LG's.

The resolution for the Round is 5.7-inches at 1080x1920 AMOLED resolution, while the G Flex has a 6-inch 1280x720 OLED display.

Images of LG's G Flex with its curved screen and OLED display have been floating around for a couple of weeks now, but other information seemed to be rather scarce until now.

As previously reported, it's no secret that LG and Samsung are old strong rivals, where you cannot find one device with one brand without having a competing device from the other. That's why it should be no surprise that in the wake of Samsung's announcement of a curved phone, LG is on their heels with one of their own.

The Verge reports that LG plans on releasing the G Flex in November right after the Nexus 5 is on the markets. However, there is no set price or availability just yet.
