After Apple and Samsung, HTC mulls cheaper gold-coloured phone

First it was Apple, then came Samsung and now it looks like HTC is also keen on launching its own version of the gold-coloured phone.

HTC has just announced that it is launching a new gold-coloured HTC One that will soon be available across Europe and would soon come to the UAE and the rest of the region.

It was Apple which first officially introduced gold-coloured models with its latest flagship the iPhone 5S. Samsung then came out with its own version through the S4.

HTC first toyed with a premier gold edition, a real 18ct gold-plated HTC One, last month to commemorate its 18th anniversary of the Mobo Awards.

Only five limited-edition models were leased with each priced at £2,750 (Dh16,329).
